As a candidate for Judge of the Hamilton County Municipal Court, I bring a deep commitment to fairness, integrity and service to our community. With more than fifteen years of legal experience in the Hamilton County court system, I am excited and ready to serve with impartiality and a dedication to upholding the rule of law.

I believe that the true measure of justice is not only accountability, but compassion and understanding. My commitment is to a system that treats all individuals with dignity - whether you are a victim, a witness, an attorney or a defendant who has made a mistake and is seeking a second chance.

It is essential that our courts embrace rehabilitation and a smart on crime approach to criminal justice. A compassionate approach to justice focuses on the possibility of transformation. Every individual is more than the worst thing they’ve done; and it’s crucial that our court system recognizes this. Many offenders face challenges that extend beyond the courtroom – addiction, mental health, poverty and trauma. By recognizing and addressing these underlying issues, we can break the cycle of crime and give individuals the resources they need to lead productive and positive lives. When we treat offenders with fairness and understanding, we ultimately reduce recidivism and make our communities safer.

If you give me the opportunity to serve as your next Municipal Court Judge, I will listen to the unique circumstances of each case and seek solutions that balance the needs of justice with the possibility of transformation. I will bring an open mind and balanced perspective to every case – recognizing that justice is not one-size-fits-all. By upholding both the letter and the spirit of the law, I will aim to ensure the courts are a place where all people have access to equal and fair justice.
