Meet Danielle

Although Danielle was born in Cincinnati, she grew up in a small town in east-central Ohio. After she graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Political Science, she went on to work in the Office of the Ohio Governor and Lieutenant Governor. She later worked in the public relations and advertising industry before deciding to further her education.

In 2005, Danielle returned to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where she graduated with honors. She began working at the Ohio Justice & Policy Center (OJPC), a non-profit organization in Cincinnati focused on rehabilitation for individuals currently and formerly involved in the criminal justice system. While there, Danielle served as the administrator for the Indigent Defense Clinic, a clinical legal education program for third-year law students at the University of Cincinnati College of Law and Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law. In that capacity, she was an adjunct professor for both law schools and had the opportunity to teach and train law students in evidence-based, best practices for representing indigent criminal defendants.

Danielle later served as the Training Coordinator at the Office of the Hamilton County Public Defender, where she continued her work with the Indigent Defense Clinic. In addition to working with law students, Danielle created and implemented training programs for new and existing public defender staff attorneys. Ultimately, though, with the realization that she missed the direct client interaction and involvement, Danielle transferred to the Municipal Division as a staff attorney and, later, as a team leader and supervisor.

Today, Danielle works in private practice at Colliver Law, LLC, where she provides representation in criminal defense and some civil matters in Hamilton County Municipal and Common Pleas Courts. Danielle is a member of the Cincinnati Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys, having previously served as the President and Treasurer.

Danielle is eager to bring her experience, integrity and passion for the rule of law to work for you – the citizens of Hamilton County.

Please vote Danielle Colliver for Municipal Court Judge on November 4!
